Martin Beck, Posthuman Habitats I & II

Exhibition

Artists:

Martin Beck

The springboard for time to sync or swim was Martin Beck’s digital archive of images and text related to digitalized bodies, which were originally posted online in the Otherkin, meme, or fail contexts then subsequently trawled by Beck on his endless odyssey through blogs and platforms such as Tumblr, 9gag, Imgur, and 4chan. In the exhibition a three-part essay on crises of embodiment accompanies the Berlin-based philosopher’s archive.
