Spring Assembly
With the contributions by Ulrike Boskamp, Frauke Gerstenberg & Leon Bischinger (Muthesius University of Fine Arts and Design, Kiel), Christian Huck, Lene Markusen, Eva Hertzsch & Adam Page, Daniela Zambrano Almidón and Raphaela Kuhn & Basti Weber, Inke Magens, Marle Rudolph and others.
Program
The Spring Assembly will deal with “ground”-work. On Friday and Saturday, a variety of public lectures and presentations await you: Inke Magens will be talking about the local conditions of agricultural land. Together with Ulrike Boskamp, we will take a look at what is growing in the garden of M.1. We will also focus on key concepts such as “nature” and “culture”, their interdependencies, cooperative urban developments and rural practices, and peripheral strategies. This will be discussed with Christian Huck, Frauke Gerstenberg & Leon Bischinger and Eva Hertzsch & Adam Page. The artist Lene Markusen invites you to name special “ecological” places that will serve as the basis for an ongoing wall drawing. In a ceremony, the artist Daniela Zambrano will plant special potato varieties in the garden of M.1. On Sunday morning, we will create a space for open exchanges in an informal atmosphere.
