Studio Experimentelles Design

The Studio for Experimental Design of the HFBK Hamburg represents a problem-oriented design approach. The studio's superordinate project format is the Public Design Consultancy. This offers free support to people who are otherwise usually excluded from design processes to help them come to terms with their everyday problems in design. Under the supervision of Prof. Jesko Fezer, students work in interdisciplinary teams on real issues in various socio-cultural contexts and contribute to these with their design practice. The concept and implementation of the Archive of Encounters at M.1 was developed and designed by Veronica Andres, Pablo Lapettina, Laura Mahnke and Skadi Sturm.
