Erzählcafé: Wohnen Wie wollen wir in Holo miteinander wohnen?

Artists:

Polyphrenic Creatures, Antje Hachenberg and Kvartier Minne-Colson

Your very personal stories and experiences are at the centre of the storytelling cafés at M.1: over coffee and cake we commit ourselves to listening to each other and to creating an awareness for the ideas and needs of different lived realities. Everyone is welcome to tell their stories!

What is it all about?

Holo Miteinander is a series of events that is about the exchange of ideas on the topics of living, working, mobility, leisure and food. We would like to create encounters and learn from each other, and contribute to the strengthening of solidarity and sense of community in Hohenlockstedt and the surrounding area.

How can I participate?

Everyone who would like to exchange ideas on one of the topics is very welcome! The number of participants is limited to 20 persons per event, so we kindly ask you to register. Drinks and cake will be provided and we will be happy to arrange childcare on request.

Who is already taking part?

For each topic, one or two people from the region are invited, who will talk about how they are already helping to shape their region. Thus local knowledge and existing solutions are made accessible to the community. Antje Hachenberg (Projektwerkstatt Inklusion Itzehoe & Familiennetzwerk Lebenshilfe Steinburg e.V.) will moderate the storytelling cafés. The artist duo Polyphrenic Creatures will accompany the storytelling cafés performatively and, by creating a work of art, provide access to the processes that arise in the context of Holo Miteinander.

How can you stay in touch beyond the storytellingcafés?

We have set up a mailing list that you can use to stay in touch, discuss certain topics more in depth, exchange information and arrange meetings. We hope that through this mailing list the discussion, sharing of experiences, wishes and ideas will continue outside of M.1 - and can possibly even contribute to the formation of new interest groups.

More information can be found here.

When and where do the storytellingcafés take place?

We will meet in the café of M.1 (Arthur Boskamp-Stiftung, Breite Str. 18, 25551 Hohenlockstedt) on the following dates from 15:00-17:30:

How did the project come about?

Holo Miteinander was initiated by Sascia Bailer (artistic director 2019/20 of M.1) and Claudia Dorfmüller (director M.1 Lokalprogramm). The project is part of the funding programme MITEINANDER REDEN of the Federal Agency for Civic Education. This programme supports 100 projects nationwide in rural areas to promote participation and communication.
