Exhibition Advancement Award 2025/26: Eda Aslan
As part of the Advancement Award 2025/26, we cordially invite you to the exhibition opening on 9 May 2026 at 2 pm. In her work Transmitting Wind, the artist Eda Aslan examines air currents as carriers of political and material history. For the exhibition at M.1, Eda Aslan is developing a spatial installation that transmits meteorological data from a distant landscape to the exhibition space in Hohenlockstedt in real time. Through data-driven control of fans, the movement of the winds becomes perceptible as a subtle physical presence – as a draught, pressure or a slight tingling on the skin.
